Ilse Weber was a poet, songwriter, and writer whose career blended lyricism, compassion, and moral courage. Writing in Theresienstadt, she composed children’s songs and sang them to children in the infirmary. Her delicate, haunting works reflect resilience, empathy, and artistic integrity. She and one of her sons, Tommy, perished in Theresienstadt.
