Ilse Weber was a poet, songwriter, writer and nurse whose creative career gave voice to innocence and compassion amid catastrophe. Writing simple, poignant verses and songs for children, she preserved humanity under persecution. Deported to Theresienstadt and later Auschwitz, she continued creating until her murder, leaving works that endure as quiet testimony, resilience, and moral clarity.
